Day 14 - Why you love it
The show itself is amazing and so is it’s impact on later tv series. David Lynch created for Twin Peaks great and unique characters. I love the mysteries in it, I love the humour in it, I love it’s own exceptional atmosphere that captures you. The music is so fitting to it and beautiful. I love how well sophisticated this series is and all the symbolic in it. The Twin Peaks we have now is astonishing in my opinion and I can only imagine what it would have been like if it hadn’t been cancelled and they hadn’t to improvise.

Lynch shows his true directatorial strengths in a scene near the end of the film in which he transforms the nibbling of a candy necklace into a gripping and tender moment. Even his detractors would have to give him credit for that." - Henry Stewart

‘When David Lynch met George Lucas’ as told by David Lynch.

Lynch and David Cronenberg were considered to direct the Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi before Richard Marquand signed on as director. He went on to explain his bizarre meeting with George Lucas and the giant headache he got when George was introduced him to Wookiees.
